Job Title Experience Plastic Technician (II) Location Walker, MI Pay: 1st Shift - 19.85/hr 2nd Shift - $19.85/hr 3rd Shift -$19.85/hr Shift: 1st 6:45 am to 3:00 pm Monday - Friday 2nd 2:45 pm to 11:00 pm Monday- Friday 3rd 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Sunday- Thursday Job Summary: As an Experienced Plastic Technician (Level 2) at Bissell, you will play a critical role in the plastics department, responsible for setting up and operating plastic injection molding machines, as well as performing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal machine performance. Responsibilities Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines, including loading and unloading molds, setting machine parameters, and monitoring production Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating machines, replacing worn parts, and performing preventive maintenance tasks Troubleshoot machine issues, identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to achieve efficient and safe production operations Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and safety Train and mentor junior technicians as needed Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs, and production data Key Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Must have strong mechanical aptitude Understands blueprints and technical drawings Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Requires fluent use of English (reading, writing, and speaking) Preferred Skills 1-2 years of experience in Plastic injection molding Previous Die Setting experience Previous Quality Control experience Basic math skills How to Apply Workbox webpage posting link Equal Opportunity Employment Experienced Plastic Blow Mold Technician (II)Location: Walker, MI Shift: 3rd Shift – Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AMPay: $19.85 per hourJob SummaryAre you a skilled and detail-oriented technician looking to take your career to the next level? Operating and maintaining blow molding machines: Set up, start up, and shut down machines while ensuring optimal production efficiency. ? Performing mold changes and adjustments: Execute mold changes safely and efficiently, and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and output. ? Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment: Monitor performance, identify issues, and perform minor repairs or maintenance to minimize downtime.
