Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and other accounting software
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Skills:
- Assist the CFO in catching up and maintaining accurate financial records
- Perform reconciliations, data entry, and bookkeeping in QuickBooks
- Help with tracking and categorizing expenses
- Prepare basic reports and assist with financial analysis
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members and vendors
