Job Summary
Are you a dependable, hands-on worker who takes pride in keeping things clean and in good shape? We’re looking for an Apartment Turnover Technician / Groundskeeper
to join our team in Ypsilanti, MI. In this role, you’ll help maintain apartment units and property grounds — making sure everything is clean, safe, and ready for new residents. Each day offers variety, from cleaning out vacant units to assisting with light maintenance and general upkeep around the community.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Apartment Turnover Technician / Groundskeeper, your core responsibilities will include:
- Apartment Turnovers: Clean out vacant units and prepare them for new residents, including minor repairs and touch-ups.
- Light Maintenance Work: Assist with basic maintenance such as painting, minor patching, and general upkeep.
- Trash & Grounds Care:
Tend dumpster areas, remove debris, and ensure all outdoor spaces are clean and well-kept.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow all safety procedures and complete daily tasks efficiently to keep the property looking its best.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the day
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial work, or apartment maintenance is a plus
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ensures every unit and outdoor space meets cleanliness and quality standards.
- Work Ethic: Dependable and willing to go the extra mile to keep the property looking great.
- Versatility: Capable of handling both cleaning and light maintenance responsibilities.
