Great position for an Experienced Product Inspector/ Quality Control Associate
A Inspector is
responsible for visually examining and measuring large rolls of fabric to ensure they meet quality standards by checking for defects like holes, stains, uneven weaves, incorrect width, and color variations, rejecting any rolls that do not comply, and documenting findings on inspection reports while maintaining a clean and safe work area within a textile manufacturing facility

Responsibilities:
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the production floor
- Maintains daily wipe down of production traffic area
- Communicating with the Team Leader on Quality Assurance
- Manages the logistics of raw materials, finished goods, and scrap materials
- Assists the Production Manager in weekly preventive maintenance of machines
- Various tasks relating to the daily production schedule
- Keep up with the production pace throughout the shift
- Visual Inspection: Carefully examine each cloth roll and die print for visible defects like holes, snags, stains, uneven seams, and color variations using good lighting conditions.
- Measurement Verification: Measure the width of each roll to ensure it falls within specified tolerances using measuring tools.
- Defect Recording: Document the type, location, and severity of any defects found on inspection sheets, noting the roll number and other relevant details.
- Quality Control Decisions: Determine whether a roll of fabric meets quality standards and decide to accept or reject it based on inspection findings.
- Reporting: Submit detailed inspection reports to supervisors, highlighting any quality issues and potential areas for improvement.
- Defect Communication: Notify production personnel about identified defects to allow for adjustments or necessary corrective actions.
- Maintaining Work Area : Keep the inspection station clean and organized, disposing of fabric scraps appropriately.
Qualification/Skills:
- Must have Inspection / Quality Control experience
- Eye for quality attention to detail
- Ability to move between tasks
- Reliability
- Hard Worker
- Must understand and maintain written records and documentation (daily activity)
- Must be professional
- Able to lift 25 lbs. throughout the shift
- Ability to perform very repetitive motions
- Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours. Some stations have sit-down desks
- Self-Motivated
