Maintenance Welder Location: Belleville, MI Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Pay: Up to $20.00/hr
Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Welder in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will support plant operations by performing maintenance welding on equipment and assisting with repairs to keep production running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with recent welding experience who enjoys hands-on work and variety in their day.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
Welding: Perform ARC, Stick, or SMAW welding to repair and maintain plant equipment
Equipment Repair: Assist with troubleshooting and fixing machinery to minimize downtime
Project Work: Support ongoing maintenance projects within the facility
Travel Support: Occasionally travel locally to assist nearby facilities as needed
General Maintenance: Help with additional plant maintenance tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
Recent welding experience required (ARC, Stick, or SMAW)
Ability to work in a maintenance or industrial environment
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Skills & Physical Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform physical work and lift as needed
Comfortable working in a production environment
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Shift & Employment Details
Schedule: 4–5 days per week, 10-hour shifts (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
