Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with your hands? We’re seeking an Assembler to join our team assembling aluminum products in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building high-quality components using hand tools and precision techniques. This position is ideal for someone with strong manual dexterity who takes pride in producing accurate, well-built finished products.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assembling aluminum components: Use hand tools to assemble parts according to product specifications and work instructions.
- Using hand tools effectively: Operate tools such as drills, screwdrivers, rivet guns, and other handheld equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Inspecting completed assemblies: Ensure finished products meet quality and fitment standards before moving to the next stage of production.
In addition, you will also assist with organizing materials, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting production needs to ensure consistent product quality.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong proficiency with hand and power tools
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and verbal assembly instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Skills
- Hand & Power Tool Proficiency: Ability to safely and effectively use common assembly tools to complete precise work.
- Manual Dexterity: Strong fine motor skills needed to handle small components and complete detailed assembly tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures assembled aluminum products meet quality and fit specifications.
