Workbox Staffing is hiring Assembly Technicians
in Canton, MI. Come help build something great in the manufacturing world! In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting automotive components while ensuring quality standards are met. This is a great opportunity for someone with assembly experience who enjoys detail-oriented work in a team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assembly Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Component Assembly: Install cameras into rear light assemblies according to production specifications and quality standards
- Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections to verify proper installation and check for scratches or defects before repackaging
- Machine Checks: Complete daily machine checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Production Reporting: Accurately complete end-of-day production reports and provide updates to management
- General Production Support: Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles and assist with inspections or rework as needed
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of assembly experience preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods ( up to 8 hours)
- Comfortable bending, stooping, and kneeling throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
