Job Summary
Specified Air Solutions is a leader in industrial HVAC manufacturing and is hiring Assembly/Production Builders to help build high-quality HVAC units. This is a full-time, hands-on role with excellent training and career growth potential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and assemble HVAC units and subassemblies using hand tools
- Install insulation, padding, and mechanical components (fans, shafts, dampers, etc.)
- Construct steel housing structures for HVAC units
- Operate or learn to operate Hi-Lo and overhead crane equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety protocols
- Communicate with team members and other departments as needed
- Be available for overtime work as scheduled
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with hand tools, construction, or blueprint reading preferred
- Dependable with good attendance
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders (up to 10 ft)
- Comfortable with physical work: lifting, kneeling, crouching, and standing
Work Environment
- Shop floor position, heated but not air-conditioned
- Work involves manual labor and use of hand/power tools
- PPE required: steel/composite toe boots, safety glasses
