Job Summary
Are you a motivated and team-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking an Assembler
to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping assemble landing gears and other components for the trucking industry while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assembly & Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble landing gears for various industries, ensuring precision and efficiency.
- Galvanized Cleaning: Perform cleaning and preparation tasks to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Documentation & Training: Log completed work and training documents accurately while cross-training in multiple positions/stations along the assembly line.
In addition, you will also be expected to adhere to safety rules and procedures while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Responsible for performing tasks safely according to safety rules and procedures
- Must be able to learn, cross-train, and gain proficiency in each position/station
- GED or High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Skills:
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet production goals.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of robotic welding and hand tools to perform assembly tasks.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and solve production requirements with associates, suppliers, and customers.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret written work instructions accurately.
