Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking an Assembler to join our team in Wyoming, Michigan. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our production operations, helping us support a Michigan‑based company committed to quality manufacturing and dependable service.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating Production Equipment: Safely start, load, run, unload, and shut down assembly equipment to maintain efficient production.
- Producing Quality Parts: Manufacture the required number of parts that meet customer and company quality standards in a timely manner.
- Performing Quality Checks: Use handheld gauges, inspect parts, handle non‑conforming materials, and complete quality documentation accurately.
In addition, you will also be expected to perform operator‑level maintenance on equipment and tend machines such as arbor presses or riveting machines to complete fastening operations.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, comprehend, and apply written instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and maintain good dexterity
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing of 6 months or more
Skills:
- Adaptability: Helps you adjust to changing production needs and workflow.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in assembly, gauging, and documentation.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Supports safe and effective operation of production equipment.
