Job Summary


Are you someone who is mechanically inclined with a strong working knowledge of blueprints, hand and power tools, and enjoys assembling a variety of products? We're seeking an Assembler to join our team in Clare, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to manufacture high-quality products by precisely assembling components and ensuring they meet strict quality expectations.


What You'll Be Doing


As an Assembler, your core responsibilities will include:
Component Positioning: Positioning parts according to the work order and blueprints.
Assembly: Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
Tool Operation: Operating hand drills, tool, and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.
Quality Assurance: Verification that the fit, function, and cosmetics meet or exceed Company quality expectations.
Documentation: Recording all labor and downtime, and documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.
In addition, you will also be expected to help maintain all company safety regulations and confer with team leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production, or inventory issues.


What We're Looking For


To be successful in this role, you should have the following:


Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to read and interpret the English language and blueprints.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.
Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined with a strong working knowledge of blueprints, hand, and power tools.
Measurement Accuracy: Must possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Dexterity: Frequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.
