Qualifications:
- Must understand and comply with 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to keep work areas organized, clean, and safe, and participate in regular cleaning, organizing, and inspections to ensure warehouse efficiency and compliance with safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting is required.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Skills:
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and general assembly processes.
- Ability to read and follow standard work instructions.
- Team player with strong communication and reliability.
As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling automotive components in a cleanroom environment. Your tasks will include following standard work procedures, performing quality checks with precision measuring tools, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting your team to meet production goals. Also, you will need to understand what 5S means, as you will be asked to maintain 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to keep work areas organized, clean, and safe, and participate in regular cleaning, organizing, and inspections to ensure warehouse efficiency and compliance with safety protocols. You may rotate positions and support basic troubleshooting or changeovers as needed. After your time with Workbox, you will be considered for hire-in!
