Assembly Technician

Livonia, MI
to build and assemble components that help improve processes and products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with assembly experience who can follow drawings and work efficiently with hand tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an
Assembly Technician
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Component Assembly: Build racks, workstations, carts, and other items using hand tools and saws.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Work from engineered drawings, hand sketches, and bill of materials to assemble components accurately.
- Quality & Accuracy: Ensure all assembled items meet specifications and quality standards. In addition, you will maintain a clean workspace, follow safety procedures, and assist with other assembly-related tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using hand tools safely and effectively.
Skills:
- Technical Accuracy: Able to read tape measures, drawings, and work from blueprints.
- Communication: Read and write in English to follow instructions and record information.
- Teamwork & Reliability: Work collaboratively with others and maintain consistent attendance.
