Automation Water Spider - $17/hr - Kentwood

RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES:
- Load each workcell with components in order to keep automated workcell running at all times
- Scan labels for part traceability for all components.
- Follow all plant rules and procedures.
- Understand all current quality alerts and issues at the line.
- Ensure cleaning and 5S are maintained throughout the shift.
- Repack bulk components and finished goods as needed.
- Basic error corrections with machine faults.
- Follow standard work and inspection instructions at each operation.
- Inform the Lead Technician if there is a safety, quality, production or maintenance issue.
- Proper communication with other shifts.
- Support daily and weekend overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned. Job lifting requirements of 35 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, turn, and squat if necessary.
Preferred Skills:

Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent
●
Three years experience in manufacturing environment
●
Material handling experience is preferred
●
Ability to follow instructions
●
Self motivated/directed
●
Basic troubleshooting skills related to machine faults
●
Read, write and speak English (bilingual is preferred)
●
Basic math skills
