BargerGard Technician (Thermoform Operator)
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday)
Pay: $19.90/hour
Job Summary
Are you mechanically inclined and ready to join a company that values safety, teamwork, and quality? We’re seeking a BargerGard Technician to operate thermoform machines, inspect and package parts, and work closely with your team to ensure smooth and efficient production on 3rd shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a BargerGard Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
● Machine Operation: Operate thermoform machines efficiently and safely to meet daily production goals.
● Quality Control: Inspect and verify the quality of BargerGard material and finished parts.
● Packaging & Training: Package parts according to standards and train packaging technicians as needed.
● Maintenance: Perform minor maintenance and cleaning on equipment to keep machines running smoothly.
● Teamwork & Safety: Work closely with your team in the Barger department while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow all company safety and housekeeping policies and perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED required.
● Proven mechanical aptitude and experience operating machinery.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in inspecting and packaging parts.
● Ability to pass a vision test including:
– Visual acuity (corrected vision of at least 20/40)
– Peripheral and depth perception.
● Basic math, computer, and mechanical skills.
● Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
