Job Summary
Are you a motivated and mechanically inclined individual looking for a long-term opportunity? We're seeking a BargerGard Technician to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll play a key part in our manufacturing operations, helping us produce high-quality thermoformed packaging with precision and teamwork.
What You'll Be Doing
As a BargerGard Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
Operating Thermoform Machines: Ensure proper machine operation to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
Inspecting and Packaging Parts: Perform quality checks and package finished products to meet safety and appearance standards.
Material Quality Control: Check the quality of BargerGard materials to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.
In addition, you will also be expected to train packaging technicians, assist with light maintenance/cleaning, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Mechanically inclined with a proven track record
- Ability to pass a vision test (20/40 corrected, depth, and peripheral vision)
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bending, stooping, reaching, etc.)
Skills:
Attention to Detail: Essential for identifying quality issues and maintaining high production standards.
Basic Math and Computer Skills: Needed to operate equipment, record data, and ensure accurate production tracking.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within your team and follow instructions.
