BargerGard Technician (Thermoform Operator)
Location: Elkhart, IN
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am–2:00pm Monday–Friday)
Pay: $18.40 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and mechanically inclined individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a BargerGard Technician (Thermoform Operator) to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping produce high-quality thermoformed materials while maintaining strong safety and production standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a BargerGard Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
● Machine Operation: Operate thermoform machines efficiently and safely to meet daily production goals.
● Quality Control: Inspect BargerGard material and finished parts to ensure they meet company quality standards.
● Packaging & Maintenance: Package parts according to specifications and perform minor maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment running smoothly.
In addition, you will also train packaging technicians as needed, collaborate with the Barger department team, and follow all company safety and housekeeping policies.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED required
● Proven mechanical aptitude and experience operating machinery
● Ability to pass a vision test (corrected vision of at least 20/40, peripheral and depth perception)
● Basic math, computer, and mechanical skills
● Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
● Mechanical Proficiency: Ability to operate and maintain thermoforming equipment efficiently.
● Attention to Detail: Strong inspection skills to ensure accuracy in packaging and product quality.
● Teamwork & Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
