Bindery Worker
to join our team in
Ann Arbor, MI.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and accurately, supporting both our clients and internal teams.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Bindery Worker,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Perform hand operations: Gather, insert, and jacket printed materials to ensure proper assembly and organization.
- Stack and pack materials: Organize printed products on skids and pack finished books into cartons to meet production and shipping requirements .
- Feed stock into machines safely: Operate machinery efficiently while maintaining safety standards and product quality.
In addition, you will also be expected to inspect products for quality, support additional bindery tasks as assigned, and help maintain a clean and organized work area.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Must have a background in digital printing (examples: FedEx, Kinko’s, ULitho, PrintTech, Allegra, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, continuous experience in digital printing or bindery work.
- Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Skills:
- Attention to detail: Ensures every product meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Dependability: Reliable attendance and consistent performance are crucial to meet production goals.
- Manual dexterity and safety awareness: Comfortable performing hand operations and feeding stock into machines while following proper safety protocols.
