Brazing Operator - 1st Shift - $16.50/hr - Dexter, MI
Bring the Heat: Get Hands-On with Precision Brazing!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and load parts into brazing furnaces
- Inspect components for cleanliness and readiness
- Complete production tickets and labor documentation accurately
- Assemble parts while seated for extended periods
- Work near high-temperature
- Rotate through different stations in the department
- Keep work area clean and report issues to leadership
Qualifications/Skills:
- Comfortable working in high-heat environments, especially during summer
- Experience assembling and prepping metal parts (removing shavings, burrs, etc.)
- Ability to track production, tag parts, and record labor hours accurately
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Excellent attendance and reliability
