Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our Laser Team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC or manual brake press machines, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC or manual brake press machines to bend, shape, or form aluminum sheets and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules
- Measure finished parts using calipers, gauges, and precision tools to ensure compliance with specifications
- Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances within 1 degree
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production and quality goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of brake press operation experience, preferably in aluminum or metal fabrication
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude
