1st Shift- Break Relief/Production- $18/hr- Grand Rapids
Come work at a local tortilla chip manufacturer cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Maintain production for various positions and departments while stationed workers are on break, vacation, and other absences
- Previous leadership experience such as team lead or line lead and have worked in various manufacturing positions
- Operate machines and adjust as needed
- Perform quality checks, package, palletize, and wrap products
- Adhere to GMP guidelines
Preferred Skills:
- Able to learn various machines and positions
- Previous forklift experience preferred but not required
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred 3 years of production experience is required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Must be able to do basic math (add,subtract,divide,and multiply)
- Able to stand and walk throughout entire shift
- Must be able to work well with a team
In this role, Candidates will be responsible for filling in for all processing and packaging positions to cover absences and vacations including lead positions. Candidates will operate machines, and equipment as well as help out in the warehouse and performing quality work.
