Cabinet Maker & Bench Carpenter – $18–$25/hr (1st Shift) – Garden City, GA
Do you take pride in precision craftsmanship and creating high-quality wood products? Join a team of highly skilled cabinet makers producing custom cabinetry and furniture for high-end residential projects.
Qualifications:
● Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to plan assembly and construction
● Skilled in attaching parts and subassemblies using glue, dowels, nails, screws, or clamps
● Able to bore holes manually or with machinery for screws or dowels
● Experience cutting, shaping, and trimming wood using hand tools (planes, chisels, files)
● Ability to measure and mark dimensions accurately for precise cuts and assembly
● Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, and drawer pulls
● Knowledge of matching materials for color, grain, and texture
● Capable of performing repairs or alterations on cabinetry, furniture, or wood structures
● Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to plan assembly and construction

● Reinforce joints and prepare pieces for finishing
● Perform final touch-ups using sandpaper, steel wool, and detail tools
● Estimate material types, amounts, and costs needed for projects
● Multi-task and learn new skills while following instructions accurately
● Take initiative and maintain a high level of craftsmanship
● Set up and operate woodworking machines (power saws, jointers, mortisers, molders, shapers, tenoners)
