Qualifications • Centerless Grinder operator experience (1-3 years minimum preferred) • Experience running Cincinnati Centerless Grinder is preferred • Manufacturing experience (1-3 years required) • Knowledge of blueprints, gaging and equipment specific to the job Duties • Set up and operate Centerless Grinder cell at maximum quality while meeting rate standards • Inspect parts visually and with measuring devices (calipers and micrometers) to assure quality per blueprint specifications • Responsible for quality parts produced and quality standards as outlined in procedures and work instructions • Install appropriate grinding wheels, regulating wheels and tools as needed • Perform basic machine maintenance and repair as defined on the preventative maintenance schedule • Record complete and accurate information on machine function, production counts and repair activity • Enter SPC statistics into Keyence System as applicable to the job • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment • Other secondary production work as assigned Skills and Experience • Excellent Attendance. • Excels in a fast-paced work environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. • Ability to stand for 10 hours per day. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. • Good communication skills • Works well in a team environment Education • High School or equivalent (preferred)
