Job Summary
We are hiring a
Chemical Production Technician
to support chemical batch manufacturing operations while contributing to technical and operational improvement projects. In this role, you will assist with hands-on production activities, including batch processing, sampling, material handling, and shipment preparation.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Execute chemical batch production according to controlled batch instructions
• Prepare mixing tanks, pumps, filtration equipment, and transfer systems
• Transfer raw materials and finished products between tanks, totes, and drums
• Monitor process conditions and document batch production data
• Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation
• Label and store raw materials and finished products properly
• Prepare materials for packaging and shipment
• Operate forklift or pallet jack to move materials safely
• Support process improvements and assist with updates to batch instructions and SOPs
• Collect production data to assist with troubleshooting and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
• Degree in Chemistry or related scientific/technical field strongly preferred
• Ability to follow technical procedures and maintain detailed documentation
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and follow PPE requirements
• Ability to qualify for respiratory protection equipment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills:
• Strong attention to detail
• Technical curiosity and interest in chemical manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in both hands-on production and technical support tasks
• Ability to contribute to process and operational improvements
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
• Ability to work in an active manufacturing and chemical production environment
