CNC Burner Operator
Location: Cedar Springs, MI Shift: 3rd Shift Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you looking for an opportunity to build your manufacturing career with a growing company? We're seeking a CNC Burner Operator to join our team in Cedar Springs, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating CNC burning equipment to produce quality parts according to pre-programmed dimensions while meeting production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Burner Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- CNC Machine Operation: Program and operate CNC burning equipment to produce parts according to work orders and specifications.
- Material Processing: Load the correct metal plate onto the burner, burn parts to specifications, and deburr and clean completed parts.
- Quality Control: Measure, inspect, label top and bottom edges, and place finished parts on skids while ensuring all quality standards are met.
In addition, you will maintain a clean and safe work environment and collaborate with Shop Foremen and Shift Leaders to support production goals.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to learn and be trained on CNC burning equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Full use of all limbs and ability to perform physical job duties.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow work orders and instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and shift leaders.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
