Lead CNC Lathe Setup/Operator, Up to $25/hr. - 1st Shift - Garden City MI

Qualifications:
- At least 3 yrs. experience in programming, fixturing, set-up and operating.
- Candidate should be familiar with cutting steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass.
- Understanding of cutting speeds, feeds and depth of cuts for single and multiple passes.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to write programs for CNC machines based on company needs
- Ability to Set up machines in accordance to blueprints
- Ability to do tool changes as needed and troubleshoot machines
In this role you will be integral to keeping production moving by performing tool changes and trouble shooting machines as well as running various drilling, milling and tapping jobs. Various mills are equipped with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controllers. As a high value employee, you will be considered for hire-in after your time with Workbox!
