CNC Lathe Operator

Location: Warsaw, IN
 Shift:
 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
 3rd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
 Schedule: 4/10 workweek with 3-day weekends every week
 Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour for entry-level candidates, up to $30.00 per hour for candidates with 3–5+ years of experience

Job Summary

In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, producing precision-machined components for the medical instrument industry. What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Lathe Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
-Operating CNC lathe equipment: Run CNC lathes and related machining equipment to produce high-precision components that meet strict quality standards.
-Reading engineering drawings and specifications: Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production of parts.
-Inspecting finished products: Utilize measuring tools and quality inspection techniques to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality.
-In addition, you will also be expected to perform basic machine adjustments, maintain production records, assist with setup activities, and contribute to a clean and organized manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read engineering drawings or willingness to learn
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Skills:
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand machining concepts, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Attention to Detail: Essential for producing components used in the medical instrument industry where precision and quality are critical.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and work with supervisors and team members to maintain quality and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience for higher pay consideration
  • Experience operating Haas, Mazak, or Star Swiss machines highly preferred
  • Experience working in medical device, precision machining, or closely regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
