Job Summary
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a stable, first-shift opportunity? We’re seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Holland, Michigan. In this role, you’ll play a key part in precision manufacturing by producing high-quality components and ensuring accuracy in every step of the machining process.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a CNC Machinist, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating CNC Machines: Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and 2-axis lathes to produce precision parts.
- Reading Technical Documents: Interpret travelers and blueprints to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
- Performing Quality Checks: Use micrometers, calipers, and various gauges to inspect finished products for accuracy.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience operating CNC mills (3, 4, and 5 axis) and 2-axis lathes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Skills:
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings to ensure proper machining.
- Measurement Proficiency: Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precise inspections.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment operation.
