CNC Mill Operator – Multiple Shifts Location: Warsaw, IN Shift:2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–1:00 AM | Monday–Thursday 3rd Shift | 8:00 PM–6:00 AM | Monday–Thursday Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour for entry-level candidates | Up to $30.00/hour for candidates with 3–5+ years of experience Job Summary Are you interested in building a career in CNC machining, or are you an experienced machinist looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking CNC Mill Operators to join our team in Warsaw, IN. In this role, you'll operate CNC milling equipment to produce precision-machined components for the medical instrument industry. We're open to training motivated entry-level candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude. Experienced CNC professionals with 3–5+ years of machining experience may qualify for higher compensation based on their skills and experience. What You'll Be Doing As a CNC Mill Operator, your core responsibilities will include: CNC Mill Operation: Operate CNC mills and related machining equipment to produce high-precision components that meet strict quality standards. Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to accurately produce parts. Quality Inspection: Inspect finished components using measuring tools and quality inspection techniques to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality. Machine Adjustments: Perform basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production and product quality. Setup Support: Assist with machine setup activities and prepare equipment for production. Production Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and report quality or machining concerns as needed. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment while following established safety procedures. What We're Looking For Qualifications Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read engineering drawings or willingness to learn. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to work effectively in a precision-focused manufacturing environment. Skills Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand or learn machining concepts, tooling, and manufacturing processes. Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain the accuracy and precision required when producing components for the medical instrument industry. Quality Focus: Commitment to producing components that meet established dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and work with supervisors and team members to maintain quality and production efficiency. Technical Learning: Willingness to learn CNC equipment, machining processes, measuring tools, and production procedures. Preferred Qualifications 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience for higher pay consideration. Experience operating Haas, Mazak, or Star Swiss machines highly preferred. Experience in medical device, precision machining, or closely regulated manufacturing environments preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
