Precision Meets Independence – Bring Your Mastercam Skills to the Table!
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, including large bridge mills and horizontal mills with pallet changers
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints
- Design and build fixtures and work-holding solutions
- Optimize cutting parameters for accuracy and efficiency
- Program conversational controllers (Mazak experience is a strong plus)
- Perform quality checks to ensure components meet tight tolerances
- Operate with a high degree of independence and initiative in a job shop setting
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of CNC milling experience, including setup and programming
- At least 5 years working in a job shop environment
- Experience with horizontal and bridge mills, including pallet changers
- Conversational programming experience (Mazak preferred)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple machines efficiently
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working 2nd shift in a hands-on, high-precision industrial environment
