Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual with machining experience looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a CNC Operator
to join our team in Muskegon. In this role, you'll play an important part in the manufacturing process by operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications and work instructions.
- Quality Inspection: Measure and inspect finished parts using gauges, calipers, or other measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor machine performance, make minor adjustments as needed, and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean work area and follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic understanding of blueprints or mechanical drawings is helpful
Skills
Attention to Detail: Ensures parts are produced accurately and meet strict quality standards.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand machine functions and make minor adjustments when needed.
Problem-Solving: Ability to recognize issues with parts or machine performance and communicate them effectively.
