1st Shift- CNC Machine Operator-$18-20/hr-Walker
Come for work for a local machining shop that provides products for various industries including aerospace, medical, construction, and more!
Preferred Qualifications:
- Monitor run times, program cycles, and stocked material for production jobs (operate multiple machines)
- Perform and record quality inspections (notify supervisor for faults)
- Material polishing, grinding, and deburring as needed using shop hand tools
- Clean and maintain equipment
- All other shop functions/tasks as requested (shipping/receiving and shop cleaning)
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work independently and be a dependable team member
- Must be able to read blueprints, and understand print tolerances, and dimension symbols.
- Knowledge of quality control inspection equipment and measuring parts accurately. Must know how to read calipers and micrometers
- A lot of experience with CNC Operating preferred but not required
- Must know how to read, write, and speak English
In this role, candidates will load materials or parts into a CNC machine for production runs. They will be responsible for monitoring the run while the machine is operating and performing quality inspections.
