Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a CNC Operator
to join our team in Plymouth, MI
. In this role, you'll play an important part in producing high-quality precision parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Operator,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating CNC Machinery: Run and monitor CNC machines to ensure quality production and adherence to specifications.
- Performing Quality Inspections: Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify part accuracy and quality.
- Reading Blueprints & Making Adjustments: Interpret blueprints, perform offsets, complete basic tool changes, and troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed.
In addition, you will also assist with machine setup, maintain production and inspection records, and support overall production efficiency and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints, perform offsets, and complete basic tool changes
- Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform accurate inspections and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable troubleshooting minor machine issues and making adjustments when needed.
- Precision Measuring Experience: Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to maintain quality standards.
