Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator for our 1st shift team. The ideal candidate will help run production efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality aluminum components. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, team-driven environment with room for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce aluminum components
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings
- Set up machines and tools for each production run
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator (aluminum fabrication preferred)
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with CNC programming and setup is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods
- Experience with Haas machines and Mastercam is preferred
