CNC Programmer

Job Summary
We’re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a growing manufacturing team in Spring Lake, MI. In this role, you will develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to support efficient production while maintaining high quality standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring machining operations run smoothly, safely, and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing
As a CNC Programmer, your core responsibilities will include:

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, or other machining equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to develop machining processes

Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds for efficient machining

Work closely with machinists and production teams to troubleshoot and improve machining processes

Perform program testing and adjustments to ensure part accuracy and quality
In addition, you will also be expected to support continuous improvement efforts and maintain organized program documentation.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with CAD/CAM software and blueprint interpretation
Skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials

Ability to work independently and collaborate with production teams
