CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator, Pay is Dependent on experience, Warren, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring for a CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator in Warren, MI.
The ideal candidate would be mainly responsible for
programming and operating the CNC Mill.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be able to set up, operate, and maintain operations on one or more Okuma CNC controlled machines
- Must be able to program machine according to the CAD drawing and assist other lathe operators with programming.
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Observes all safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance and quality inspections
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure product meets customer requirements
- Inspect and gauge parts
- Edit programs as needed
- Obtain all required tooling, drawings and any special instruction
- Any other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- CNC Lathe Programming/Operating experience
- Experience with Okuma machines preferred but not required
- Experience with IGF conversational programming a plus
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Attendance is critical
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
