CNC Tube Bender Operator

Location:  Canton, MI  Shift:  1st (8am - 4:30pm)    Pay:  $20-22/hr

Job Summary

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a  CNC Tube Bender Operator  to join our team in  Canton, MI . In this role, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality tubes, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and supporting our operations from fabrication to shipping.

What You'll Be Doing

As a  CNC Tube Bender Operator , your core responsibilities will include:
  • Tube Cutting and Deburring:  Operate saws and deburring machines to prepare tubes for further processing, ensuring smooth edges and accurate lengths.
  • End Forming and Flaring:  Use various end-forming machines to flare tubes according to specifications for final assembly.
  • CNC Tube Bending:  Operate CNC tube benders to create precise bends as required for each project.
  • Quality Verification:  Use calipers, micrometers, and CMM laser equipment to verify measurements and ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Tube Labeling and Packaging:  Seal and label tube ends for protection and prepare finished products for shipping.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow detailed work instructions, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with a diverse team to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
  • Experience in the CNC industry or related mechanical field
  • Proficiency with hand tools, chop saws, and bandsaws
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely with machinery
Skills:
  • Mechanical Aptitude:  Essential for operating CNC machines, end-forming equipment, and hand tools accurately.
  • Attention to Detail:  Critical for measuring, verifying, and maintaining quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
  • Problem-Solving:  Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery or parts to keep production moving efficiently.
