Precision You Can Turn On – Bring Your CNC Expertise to the Next Level!
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines, including Mazak and Doosan lathes
- Work with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls in a job shop environment
- Design and implement fixtures and work-holding setups for varied part runs
- Optimize cutting parameters for accuracy and throughput
- Perform in-process inspections and routine troubleshooting
- Work independently and take ownership of your machines and workload
Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience with Mazak and/or Doosan CNC lathes
- Experience with Mazatrol programming (required)
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls (preferred but not required for all 10 years)
- Comfortable working in a job shop setting with varied parts and batch sizes
- Proficient in blueprint reading and basic G-code understanding
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
As a CNC Turning Operator/Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process. Your work will involve designing fixtures, interpreting engineering drawings, and optimizing machining parameters to maintain tight tolerances. You will work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks to exacting standards.
