Precision You Can Turn On – Bring Your CNC Expertise to the Next Level!
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines, including Mazak and Doosan lathes
- Work with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls in a job shop setting
- Create and implement fixtures and work-holding setups for varied parts
- Hold and verify tight machining tolerances up to ±.0004"
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Perform in-process inspections and basic troubleshooting/maintenance
- Work independently and take ownership of daily machining responsibilities
Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of CNC turning experience, including regular use of Fanuc control
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Mazak and/or Doosan CNC lathes
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding CNC programs
- Demonstrated experience in job shop environments with tight tolerances
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform in a physically active role
As a CNC Turning Operator/Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process. Your work will involve designing fixtures, interpreting engineering drawings, and optimizing machining parameters to maintain tight tolerances. You will work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks to exacting standards.
