Job Summary
Assist in the production of concrete precast forms for roads and bridges. With opportunities for advancement and certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist in layout and set-up of precast production
- Install plates, rebar, wire, insulation, lifters, blackouts, etc.
- Tie rebar, grind, buff, and cut wire
- Perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
Key Qualifications
- Operate small hand tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Proficiency in tying rebar, pouring/vibrating concrete, and working with steel forms
Preferred Skills
- Precast experience (higher hourly wage potential)
- Hi-Lo (forklift) and skytrak certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
