Concrete Production Laborer
Location: Spring Lake, MI
Pay: $20 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
As a Concrete Production Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating equipment on the cured side of the kiln, including the splitter, turnover, pattern maker, and cuber .
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment, floors, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Performing mixer cleanouts, including scraping concrete from the sides and applying oil coatings; hearing protection required.
- Cleaning out block machine hoppers and participating in morning plant start-ups.
- Performing quality control checks, pulling product to meet dry-side quality standards, and hand-cubing specific products when required.
In addition, you will also be expected to handle materials from plant to yard, perform seasonal tasks such as repairs or upgrades, and use provided locker room facilities to clean up after shift work.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally .
- Ability to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE, including hearing protection.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Skills:
- Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical switches, fuses, or concrete mixes is a plus .
- Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate a hi-lo (forklift).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a production team.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including concrete scraping and equipment cleaning.
