Construction Project Manager

Location:  Auburn Hills, MI Shift: 1st (7:00 AM–4:30 PM) Pay: Up to $85,000/yr

Job Summary
Are you a natural leader with a passion for managing teams and delivering successful projects? We're seeking a  Construction Project Manager  to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI . In this role, you’ll oversee restoration and construction projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Construction Project Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Project Oversight: Respond to property damage emergency calls when required and oversee all aspects of construction projects.
  • Scope & Planning: Clarify project specifications with clients, engineers, and architects, including labor and material needs.
  • Team Leadership: Manage subcontractors and skilled laborers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
    In addition, you will calculate and manage budgets, issue purchase orders, provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, and participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, MI.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a construction project manager, preferably in restoration/construction.
  • Deep understanding of the construction industry, including building codes, blueprints, permits, equipment, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Xactimate and project management software.
Skills:
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams and effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly address and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
