Responsibilities for the Crankshaft Grinding Operator:

- Set up and operate crankshaft grinding machinery for production runs
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and productivity
- Perform general labor duties including cleaning, staging materials, and supporting other departments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all company safety policies
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals
Requirements for the Crankshaft Grinding Operator:

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience operating crankshaft grinding machinery or doing OD grinding in a machine shop setting
- Proficiency in reading and using calipers and other precision measurement tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of grinding processes
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
