1st Shift Pay:$24-$25/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide continuous phone and email assistance for technical and warranty service-related issues. You will work closely with end-users, dealers, distributors, and service centers to deliver effective troubleshooting solutions and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to navigate company databases while providing prompt, professional support.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Customer Service Representative, your core responsibilities will include:
- Email and Case Management: Respond promptly and professionally to emails and case inquiries.
- Follow-Up: Track open cases daily to ensure timely resolution.
- Field Communication: Make outbound calls to technicians to relay updates and information.
In addition, you will also provide administrative support to call center staff, maintain accurate records, generate reports, and assist with scheduling and coordination.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- HVAC degree with an emphasis on refrigeration preferred
- Field service experience is highly desirable, especially with gas, electric, or wood-burning appliances (ranges, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
- Experience working with a database management system and customer service environment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage inquiries via email professionally
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Outlook
- Ability to work assigned shifts and pass a pre-employment drug screening
Skills:
- Experience troubleshooting appliance repair issues
- Technical aptitude to assist service companies with problem resolution
- Strong attention to detail when capturing and documenting service information
- Dedication to continuous improvement in both customer service and company performance
