Cut & Etch Inspector

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of
automotive manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with both
manual and robotic MIG and TIG weld inspections
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a plant-floor environment
- Experience with
Epicor
is a plus
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently
Skills:
- Perform
cut & etch inspections
on welded assemblies
- Conduct
plasma cutting
(both robotic and manual)
- Execute grind polishing and
visual inspection prior to micro analysis
- Inspect welds for conformance to standards using visual and microscopic techniques
- Support production with accurate inspection feedback and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet customer specifications
As a
Cut & Etch Inspector
, you’ll play a vital role in quality control, focusing on the inspection of MIG and TIG welds on stamped and welded metal components. You’ll assist in the evaluation of parts through visual and microscopic inspection, using tools and techniques to identify flaws and ensure integrity in automotive and aerospace parts.
