Monitoring the smelting process.
Maintaining essential equipment.
Key Qualifications
Flexible and willing to learn, especially about aluminum smelting.
Lifting 50 lbs or more consistently.
Ability to handle a HOT work environment.
Preferred Skills
Forklift experience a plus

What You'll Be DoingAs a Furnace Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Furnace Loading: Load scrap aluminum into furnaces safely and efficiently.
Smelting Process: Monitor the aluminum smelting process to help maintain safe and efficient operations.
Equipment Maintenance: Assist with maintaining essential equipment used throughout the recycling process.
In addition, you will also be expected to keep your work area clean and safe while following established safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to work in a hot environment.
Flexible and willing to learn, especially about the aluminum smelting process.
Skills:Safety Awareness: Ability to follow safety procedures while working around furnaces and hot materials.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and assist with different aspects of the operation.
Forklift Experience: Previous forklift experience is a plus.
