Furnace Operator
Location:
Lake Odessa, MI
Pay: $18/hr Shift: 6am-6pm (2-2-3 scheduled)
Job Summary
The ideal candidate is not afraid of getting dirty, you’ll be processing scrap aluminum through the recycling process.
Responsibilities
- Keeping the work area clean and safe.
- Loading scrap aluminum into furnaces.
- Monitoring the smelting process.
- Maintaining essential equipment.
Key Qualifications
- Flexible and willing to learn, especially about aluminum smelting.
- Lifting 50 lbs or more consistently.
- Ability to handle a HOT work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Forklift experience a plus (not required)
