   Deburring Techician 



  Deburrer (or Deburr Technician) removes sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections from metal parts post-machining to meet precise quality standards They use hand tools (files, scrapers) and power tools (grinders, sanders) to finish components. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. 

 Key Responsibilities and Duties: Surface Finishing: Removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to create a smooth, finished surface. Tool Operation: Utilizing air grinders, files, sanders, carbide burr tools, and hand drills safely. Inspection: Performing visual and, at times, microscopic inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications.

 Blueprint Reading: Reading blueprints, travelers, or work instructions to understand necessary finishing requirements. Safety Compliance: Wearing necessary safety gear and operating equipment in accordance with safety procedures. Documentation: Completing required documentation or in-process inspection reports. 

 Required Skills and Qualifications: Attention to Detail: High level of precision to avoid damaging parts while ensuring a perfect finish. Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for handling small parts and delicate tools. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30-50 pounds, and perform repetitive motions. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with machine shop tools and, in some cases, blueprints. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.  Typical Work Environment: Manufacturing or machine shop environments. Often requires standing for long hours.
