Job Summary
Are you a motivated, hands-on individual who isn’t afraid of physical work? We're seeking a Demolition Laborer to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping support water and fire restoration projects by removing damaged materials and preparing residential and commercial properties for restoration.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Demolition Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
● Demolition & Material Removal: Safely remove water-damaged, fire-damaged, or mold-affected materials such as drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, and ceilings to prepare sites for restoration.
● Site Preparation & Clean-Up: Remove debris and trash from work areas to maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
● Tool & Equipment Operation: Set up restoration equipment and operate hand and power tools such as sledgehammers, jackhammers, and sawzalls to complete demolition tasks efficiently.
In addition, you will also assist with job-related documentation, interact professionally with customers and insurance representatives, and participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours emergency service calls.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Ability to perform physically demanding work including heavy lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
● Prior experience in demolition, construction, or restoration preferred
● Ownership of basic demolition tools may be required
● Availability to work overtime and emergency on-call shifts as needed
