Essential Functions of The Job:
- Operate one or more printers at production quotas
- Maintain operability of printers including:
- Warm up and shut down procedures
- Ink level maintenance
- Scheduled lubrications
- Scheduled filter changes
- General cleanliness of machine
- Interact with Graphics Department as needed to determine job scheduling
- Arrange stock of printing material in orderly fashion to best facilitate production
- Observe safety codes for the general shop area and their machine
- Other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe work area clear of debris
- Perform all job duties using standard safety practices
- Use time wisely and remain productive
- Responsible for following all company policies as stated in the employee handbook
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General familiarity with computer operations
- General mechanical inclination
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. pounds of material on a regular basis.
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times while in the shop.
